;D Okay, We have a white out here in the High Country. Snow and plenty of it. Drive 10 minutes off the mountain and RAIN ! Mt Rogers expected to get pounded tonight. My Home at 3,900 ft has approx 4 inches at 6 pm, I hope we get a steady white out from now until morning. Hey Hiker head?? Now is the time to come down and lets do a winter Trek and use my Igloo box. I bet you'll having a cool time down there. The wind is flat out blowing hard up here. No snow or rain though but COLD!!!!! I hope you don't loose your power tonight.
I'm leading this hike tomorrow on Peters Mtn. If it wasn't for that I'd come on down.
I have 8 people signed up for this hike and so far no cancellations. It's going to be somekind of wicked up on the ridgeline. Wish us luck.

Hey man, sounds like a good trip. Maybe SNOW ! Peters Mt. winds......... Let me know how it goes when you get back, take some pics too, I would love to see them. Have fun.

We had to call this one off because of the wind. I was being moved all over the interstate on the way to our meeting spot. We all decided to hike this on another day. Man that wind was blowing! What it's like now down at Mt Rogers?

Hikerhead- Windy here also but not as much as Peters Mountain. Temps got to 50 today and 70% of the snow melted today.
Let me know when your doing the Peters Mountain next time, maybe I can make it.

It was snowy and windy here also this past weekend. But today was awesome! My sanity may be saved yet!! Well that is if I can convince these people I have to work with I need to see sunlight once in awhile! I think after I graduate I will have outside clinics in the spring. ;D

Hahaha, well ya'll not braggin but, we got the sun, blue skies, and warm temps. It might monsoon for a day or two but then it clears up all bright and pretty. I've been in shorts for the past week. Dang, now I can't wait for summer break.
