I worked with a guy from Seattle at a youth "prison-like" camp for a while. It was an outdoor setting, and needless to say those kids weren't your outdoor types. But we had a cool vesper ring built by the CCC in the 30's there on the property. In the evenings we'd light up a campfire for them and unwind from the day. Mr Seattle would use regular greasy potato chips as fire starter. I'd never seen that before and thought that was rather unique.
Never herd using a potatoe chip before, Cool idea.
