I found a small closed cell kid's body board at the Dollar Tree. It's just the right size and will keep you from sitting on the cold/damp ground around camp.

Try a small car floor mat in the automotive department of any retail store. They have a plastic/rubberish feel and can be folded up any which way. They don't have the insulating properties that the closed cell seat provides but they take up much less space in the pack. Lightweight and already cut to the appropriate size. Cost $2.
