This is just an out and out good book. It chronicles the attempted first attempt of the Tsangpo gorge by water. If you like to read about kayakers and adventure this is your book. It is also good if you want to read more about the Tsangpo gorge region and the cloud of mystery surrounding it and the Great Falls it holds. Also, the backpacking expedition to the Gorge is written about in The Heart of the World (my next bookworm meal)
