Big Bend Campground is nice and the access to many attractions are available there. North Fork Trail is there also. Actually the entire area is a beautiful site to see, so anywhere camping in any direction is okay with me, but I'm gonna tell you hikerhead! Your going across the bridge first ,hehehe.

Frig, I signed your wife up so now she has to go. Thats seven of us signed up now. . If anybody else wants to join in that will be great. Frig, some of your other hiking buds might want to come too.
Big Bend I think will be the place. Is that OK with everybody?
I don't want to wait too long before I make reservations. I'll wait about a week and make a call. I'll shoot for two river side campsites side by side. If that doesn't work we'll get a double site that will be a little bit away from the river. I think I read somewhere were 8 people were allowed per site. I'll see when I call how many tents per site is allowed.
We have one nurse and one wilderness response grad signed up so I feel good about that.

Hikerhead --- If I need to send any money in advance let me know. If we car camp, I would love to buy everyone a big steak for the smoky joe at the campground. If anyone doesn't like steak contact me and let me know your favorite camp dinner and I will bring it along. Anyone who likes the steak idea, let me know what cut of meat you like and I will bring your favorite cut of steak. I prefer a thick Tbone or porter steak, juicy medium hickory smoked on the Smokey Joe. Also corn on the cobb grilled, and baked potatoe with onions, snow peas, carrots and a little peanut oil all wrapped up in aluminum foil for the grill. Geez I made myself hungry again! I will bring along a harness, figurure 8 bar, snap links, and 110 ft of rope,(10.5mm blue water) If anyone needs any camping equipement , let me know I have plenty, Lanterns, stoves, sleeping bags, cooking pots and pans, camp chairs etc..... I am looking forward to this trip.

Thanks Frig but the first two campsites will be on me. I think we should be able to get everyone signed up now on 2 sites. Big thanks on the steak, I'll take whatever you have to offer. You da man!! I don't know if you want to bring your rope. What I read, you can use your harness and then they clip you up to the safety line with two cables or ropes that they supply. Damn I'm getting nervous again..... I have alot of extra gear if anybody needs some.

Outstanding WD Frig, I'm thinking about bringing the Kayak. If you brought yours we may find time to take a run down the river.

Man y'all didn't say anything about a river run. I might have to find myself a boat and join ya. What's the class of that river again?

Hikerhead- I vcan do that, It depends on the water volume that time of the year to Kayak. I also have a OLD TOWNE canoe 15'6 for others if they want to experience the river.

Tadpole86-What I've seen of the rivers, there's two and they join up pretty close to the camp ground, I would have say class 1 or 2. And like Frig said, at that time of year, it could be a zero.
