;D Trip to the Daks will be Feb- 17th thru the 20th.
The warmest Temps for the past 7 year trips has been minu 5 degrees. Snow shoes are a must and Ice crampons will be helpful.
The plan will be to Trek in or iffin you have a ski sled or Pulk sled , to go in some 6 miles to the Base camp near Mt Marcy. There will be plenty of tent sites and a spring nearby. Day hikes will be anywhere you want to go, Many peaks and many Lakes.
This trip is rated for COLD WEATHER and SEVERE EXTREME conditions so you need to be prepared, THAT MEANS YOU NEED GOOD GEAR.
