I own some land near here. Actually I own this. It's a 50 ft water fall measuring from the top of the Fall to the top of the POOL. It's located off the Gualey River just 1/2 mile. When I hike the Gualey River I always go here . You cannot hear not even a jet flying over because of the pounding of the Water. Native Trout are everywhere. You can walk under the Falls and sit along a rocky ledge.
My Father was raised just a mile up the mountain from here . The rr tracks have been removed along the Gauley , now Nat'l Scenic River, A tunnel 1/2 mile long down river and the other side a Bridge that spans the Gualey.

Bring you fishin pole. and the only sun shine will be during winter when the leaves are gone. Virtually no sun gets to this area. Always COOL
