This is a duel-purpose piece of homemade gear. Take one cat food can and rest 3 tea-lights inside. It's as simple as that. The can serves as a wind screen and provides a protective base while making the unit portable. Tent stakes can be driven halfway into the ground around the unit and serve as a pot rest for heating (not boiling) water for a cup of hot chocolate, tea, coffee, or what have you. As the unit heats up the water it's also providing a little camp light.
