I bought a can of 1200 degree black engine spray-paint the other day for about 4 bucks. I sprayed my homemade alcohol stove and accessories. I don't know if it will do anything other than improve the looks of it but since it has a high heat resistence it's possible that it could extend the life of the stove. Time will tell.

Side Note: Use caution when spraying this stuff...mighty powerful. Also, I "cured" the paint (after it was dry to the touch) by baking the the alcohol stove in the oven at 500 degrees for about 45 minutes.

This will work . I have used High Temp paint on all my Alcahol stoves. I have 22 stoves now and have each one painted with it's own personality. High Temp Paint will work and keep your stove spiffy. ;D
