I have made several pulk sleds using Kmart, Walmart and other various plastic sleds to use as a pulk sled in the backcountry. I was in need of some advice as to a good harness system to control the load.
I was considering a pulk sled at this web site because of the harness system and control that it has.

I spend alot of time outdoors Backpacking during the winter time , especially at the Cranberry Glades in West Virginia, along the North Fork Trail and the Middle Fork Trail, and spend 2 weeks at a time so I need bulk supplies (FOOD) . Of course I wait for BIG SNOW conditions.
If anyone has a good idea of a harness system using a homemade pulk sled or has used the Granite Gear Pulk sled, please share your knowledge. I would deeply appreciate it.
