I have always used stainless steel cooksets like the MSR XGK system. Lately I have been looking into the newer Titanium cooksets, and there weight is good. I was hiking with another Backpacker in January of this year and noticed he was using a Titanium cook set and it was blackened, like burn't, so I ask him about the Titanium, He tells me Titanium will always look like it's burn't. Is this true with other Backpackers who use Titanium? He also informed me, when you fry with Titanium, it will stick. When I inspected his Titanium I noticed how thin it was and very light weight. Actually I thought it to look cheap but don't let my opinion set your mind frame, I know with gear, looks isn't it. The price of Titanium is high. I am not ruling out some day buying Titanium, I would like to hear from others. Can you give me your opinion on your experiences or opinions on Titanium Cooksets?

Frig, I bought a Snowpeak Titanium cook set at MRO just down the road from you in Damascus.
2 pots-1 lid. All with folding handles.
My Triangia alco stove and windscreen made from a can fit inside of it.
The outside of the pots are just like the day I bought it. While using the top as a skillet to cook bacon it would stick if you didn't keep on eye on it. But, I don't think that food sticks or burns in it any more or less than other stoves.
