Stromboli or Pizza for the Trail Pita Bread Pepperoni or Beef stick Dried tomatoes, I put mine in a blender and mulch after dehydrate. Cheeses that melt, I use shredded pkg cheese. Peanut oil Basil Oregano Aluminum Foil I slit my Pita Bread from 10 o clock to 2 o clock. Place all ingredients inside. Use your own taste as to quanity. Pinch of Basil Pinch of Oregano Pad the outside Pita with peanut oil. Place in aluminum foil, place by the fire. I place mine on a hot rock next to the fire and turn often for 5 to 10 minutes. You can add anything you would enjoy on a pizza or Calzone. My Husband Loves this meal, We use it as a first night meal. We pre pack the Pita and freeze in a freezer bag. At camp wrap the Pita in Aluminum foil and don't forget to Pad with peanut oil.

That is a great recipe. Sounds yummy on a trail or at home! Pita bread and pizza are 2 of my fav foods. Thanks for posting it.
